Despite all the historic and ongoing treatment of men of color as menaces to White womanhood, feminists of color usually have no problem pulling a brother’s coattails when he comes for you, but y’all kinda drag your feet when a White woman does the same to us or our men. And that high school tactic of pleading, “It wasn’t me” doesn’t suffice. I don’t mean to get all vanguardist on y’all, but how about you bench these chicks when they come out of pocket? Seriously, where is the discipline in this movement? I’m not saying to immediately show her the door (although that just might be appropriate on occasion.) Struggle with her if you must, but there has to be serious and immediate consequences for racist behavior even if it’s sending homegirl to an intersectionality boot camp.

Nachtrag: Das steht hier als eine Art Selbstverpflichtung für mich als Weiße. Aber auch als Erklärung dafür, warum mir in eigener Sache gern mal der Hut hochgeht, wenn die Bewegungen, die mich so gern für Slutwalks, CSDs und dergleichen rekrutieren wollen, sich einen Dreck darum scheren, dass ihr Umfeld mich nicht gerade willkommen heißt.

Pusch eine kleine Demonstration davon finden, wie Feminist_innen sich im Zweifelsfall gern auf die Seite der Unterdrücker_innen stellen, solange es keine Unterdrückung ist, unter der sie selbst leiden.
